Written by DGPH

"Turning the cuteness factor up to 11 is the latest creation from Argentina's DGPH."
- Clutter Magazine

"In a long list of illustrators, DGPH stands out by quite a bit for me. It's been a few years since I first came across their work and their imagination and style keeps me super inspired and unbelievably anxious."
- Because We Like To

San Francisco, California - October 15, 2010 - Immedium, Inc. proudly announces the publication of the children's picture book Space Cadet Topo: The Day the Sun Turned Off. Created by the talented design team DGPH, this out of this world adventure stars the brave astronaut Topo. (Spanish for "mole".)

What would you do if the sun turned off? Well somebody needs to relight it before everything freezes forever! Space Cadet Topo normally monitors outer space from his orbiting station. Now he must tackle a new mission: to travel to the ends of the universe for the mythic Galactic Flame and return to set the sun ablaze before time runs out. Accompany the galaxy's newest hero as he and his extraordinary friends, such as his brave pal Tinny Bot, save the solar system!

Space Cadet Topo is Star Trek quality excitement for the kiddie set. Science fiction combines with colorfully animated illustrations to convey the message that everyone can make a difference! "There must be something in the water in Buenos Aires… hometown to yet another wildly unique creative studio," commented International designers' Network.

Space Cadet Topo will entrance early elementary readers as well as adults who are kids at heart and admire the contemporary wave of collectible vinyl toys. The cult Chicago toy retailer Rotofugi said, "Cute doesn't even begin to describe what these amazing Argentinian artists can do."

Based upon DGPH's popular vinyl toy character, Topo springs into action to win over English speaking audiences everywhere. ToyTalk wrote, "Argentinian design studio DGPH has emerged unto the designer-toy-arena with their clean-graphically-designed world; populated with cute and happy (and even charmingly silly) creatures, each with their own personality quirks and stories...giving them a semblance of 'life' beyond their material-forms - and are quickly charming their way into many a toy-lurving-heart..." See the phenomenon first hand and enjoy the universal appeal of Space Cadet Topo: The Day the Sun Turned Off.
